The Board of Trustees of the Mofolorunso Awomolo Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Folorunso Awomolo Mentorship and Entrepreneurship (FAME) Project 2.0, a youth empowerment and enterprise development initiative designed to support and nurture young entrepreneurs across Ijesaland. Building on the successes recorded in the first phase of the programme, the Foundation is expanding the initiative to provide greater opportunities for enterprising Ijesa youths who are committed to building sustainable businesses and contributing to the economic development of their communities.

Applications for FAME Project 2.0 will officially open on 15 March 2026 and close on 30 April 2026. All interested applicants are required to submit their applications online through the Foundation’s official portal: www.maf.org.ng/fameproject. The application process is completely free, and applicants are strongly advised to disregard any individual or group requesting payment in connection with the programme.

The initiative is designed to provide beneficiaries with structured entrepreneurship training, professional mentorship, business incubation support, and access to funding that will enable them to establish, stabilize, and expand viable enterprises. The programme is part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to youth empowerment, economic inclusion, and sustainable community development in Ijesaland.

To be eligible for the programme, applicants must be indigenes of Ijesaland, must operate or intend to operate their businesses within any part of Ijesaland, and must possess a minimum educational qualification of Senior School Certificate. Applicants must also have an existing business or a viable business idea with growth potential, and demonstrate readiness to participate fully in the training and mentorship activities that will be provided under the programme.

Successful applicants will be considered for grant funding ranging from a minimum of ₦250,000 to a maximum of ₦3,000,000, depending on the viability, scale, and impact potential of their proposed enterprises. The financial support is intended to help beneficiaries strengthen their businesses, expand operations, and generate employment opportunities within their communities.

Applications will be considered within specific thematic funding areas, including: Hospitality and Creative Services (such as Photography & Multimedia, Fashion Design, Catering Services, and Batik/Aso Oke Production); Agriculture and Food Processing (including Crop Production, Animal Production, and Food Processing); Manufacturing (production and transformation of raw materials into finished or semi-

The Ilesa Business School is the implementing institution for the project coordinating the entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and business incubation components for selected beneficiaries. The Foundation therefore encourages all qualified Ijesa youths with entrepreneurial ambition to seize this opportunity by submitting their applications within the stipulated period and becoming part of a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening enterprise and prosperity across Ijesaland.
